Kaposi Sarcoma
Violaceous, slightly raised lesion, one of several found in the sigmoid colon of a 37 year-old man with the acquired immune deficiency syndrome.
Similar lesions in the transverse colon and rectum of a 33 year-old man with the acquired immune deficiency syndrome. Kaposi lesions were also seen in the esophagus.
