69 year-old woman who had undergone resection of colonic adenocarcinoma was found at follow-up colonoscopy to have a malignant-appearing mass at the anastomosis. Metallic sutures were visible within the lesion.
Recurrent anastomotic adenocarcinoma in the left colon of a 52 year-old woman who had undergone surgical resection one year earlier, followed by ongoing chemotherapy.
