Helicobacter pylori Duodenitis



70 year old woman with GERD. Duodenal bulbar nodular inflammation proved to be Helicobacter pylori duodenitis on biopsy.





35 year old women undergoing endoscopy to evaluate abdominal pain, nausea, dyspepsia and weight loss. Exam findings included duodenitis with a 5 mm oval erosion or superficial ulceration (seen best in image at left) and long linear erosions (seen best in image at right). Biopsies revealed Helicobacter pylori.
