Sarcoidosis



64 year-old woman with sarcoidosis undergoing endoscopy for evaluation of dyspepsia and pyrosis. Focal inflammation was present in the distal esophagus, and biopsies revealed noncaseating granulomas consistent with sarcoidosis. Biopsies from the stomach were also consistent with gastric sarcoidosis.
