Bleeding Esophageal Ulcer
89 year-old woman with hematemesis. Initial endoscopy (LEFT) revealed copious blood and clot in the distal esophagus, obscuring any underlying lesion. Repeat examination two days later (RIGHT) revealed a linear ulcer with a visible vessel but no further bleeding.
