Bleeding Vascular Ectasias
Punctate vascular ectasias with stigmata of bleeding. Tiny, fresh-appearing clots adherent to mucosa are present (and are more easily seen in video than on single still images.)
LEFT: Focal bleeding from a jejunal vascular ectasia in a 67 year-old woman with occult gastrointestinal bleeding causing significant anemia. An upward flow of blood can be seen from the lesion.
RIGHT: Actively bleeding jejunal vascular ectasia.
