Pedunculated Tubulovillous Adenoma



Left: 52 year old woman undergoing colonoscopy for evaluation of diarrhea. This 2.5 cm pedunculated polyp was excised from the proximal transverse colon. Histology revealed tubulovillous adenoma with high grade dysplasia.

Right: 63 year old man with hematochezia and a family history of colon polyps was found to have multiple polyps, including this 2 cm pedunculated polyp which proved to be a mixed tubular and villous adenoma.






58 year old woman undergoing high risk screening colonoscopy by virtue of a personal history of colon polyps. A 1 cm pedunculated tubulovillous adenoma was found in the ascending colon.
