Ileal web
Ileal web discovered at colonoscopy in a 76 year-old man who had presented with signs and symptoms of distal small bowel obstruction. Small bowel series suggested narrowing of the terminal ileum. Colonoscopy revealed this web, but no stricture. The lesion was dilated with a transendoscopic balloon and symptoms have not recurred to this date.
